I lost my dearest friend on Hamburger Hill. I’m glad you made it back ok. I’ve found that most,not all, friendships can be repaired with a little effort. I will never forgive the USA for wasting an amazing young man. He was a medic. If my parents weren’t still alive, I would forever burn the bridge between me and this misearble country. I can not, nor will I ever forgive this country for Vietman or our latest f–k up in the middle east.

Hey bud, I just checked my hotmail e-mail that you sent me in Januaary of 2007. Please give me a call at my cell phone(603)978-2988. After 9pm on weknights or anytime on weekends or Holidays to conserve my precious minutes.
I’ll try to stay in touch a little better. I lost your number trapped inside my old cell phone about 3 or 4 phones ago.
I went to the class of 73 website and left my new address of 31A Park St; Dover, NH 03820. But since I rent who knows how much longer I’ll be here …but I’ll always have the same cell phone number.
Please continue to stay in touch and give me a call soon.
Is there a 35 year reunion in 2008(on time this time).

In Knoxville, Tenn., in September, Thomas Martin McGouey, 51, apparently set on committing suicide, left a note and painted a bull’s-eye on his body before arranging a standoff in which he pointed a gun at police officers so they would kill him in self-defense. McGouey’s scheme failed because Knox County sheriff’s deputies, who fired 28 shots at him, missed with 27 and only grazed his shoulder with the other. [Knoxville News-Sentinel, 9-19-03] Well, , A little over a year now and I reflect on that night. I hope nobody ever goes through the dispair and hopelessness I felt that night. God stood in the way of those missed 27 bullets. My life is now transformed. I am currently still living in Knoxville Tn after spending 16 months in jail. I am the Administrator of Peace at Last ministry. A 1/2 way house for hurting men. The Lord has given me purpose,peace and Salvation. “News of the Weird” ??
