Pictures taken in New Hampshire, October 2001 A beautiful fall day, Columbus day in 2001. Andy and I drove out to North Conway and stopped repeatedly along the way to take these beautiful pictures.
Pictures taken in California, April 2002 Wow, what a trip! The highlight was a drive along the Pacific Coast Highway and seeing the seals on the beach and out in the ocean.
Pictures taken in Colorado, August 2002 A great trip, we circumnavigated the state, starting and ending in Colorado Springs, traveling south to the Royal Gorge, Great Sand Dunes, Durango, then north to Grand Junction, eastward again to Glenwood Springs, then Denver and finally home from Colorado Springs. The weather and the mountains were spectacular, the evidences of the wildfires so sad this year. And, I met my mom for the first time in 41 years, plus my 91 year old grandfather and aunts, uncles and cousins I haven't seen since 1967.
Pictures taken at the Word of Life Singles Conference, October 2002 What a conference, one that I've never experienced before. The fellowship was great, the teaching and learning a blessing, and the Word of Life folks, gracious and helpful folks. Highlight was the day trip to Montreal, I didn't take that many pictures as my head was turned in every direction at the beautiful sights. And yes, we did see snow, albeit for a short time! Thanks to Walt Grayum for wonderful, spirit-led teaching.
Pictures taken at the Word of Life Singles Conference, January 2003 Another wonderful, spirit-filled weekend! The teaching by Ric Garland was uplifting, the fellowship great, and the trip to Lake Placid a wonderful memory. Snow? There was several feet on the ground!
Pictures taken at the Word of Life Singles Conference, Fall 2003 A super weekend, anchored by the teachings of Bruce Moore and the staff of Word of Life Inn. Many new faces and new friends! Day trips on Friday included Montreal once more, and go-kart/lazer tag! Music by the group from Tennessee, Reflection was heavenly!
Pictures taken at the Word of Life Singles Conference, Winter 2004 A really great weekend with a lot of new attendees and the teaching of Jeff Teague, Rodney Trinidad, Joe Jordan and Larry Bollback. The theme was "Tropical Dreams," and many heeded the call and wore their best (?) Hawaiian shirts on Saturday night for the Luau. Many people braved the cold (-4F) and went skiing, hiking on the lake, taking a trip to Lake Placid for plane rides and bob-sledding, horseback riding, snowmobile riding and the New York state Snow Sculpting competition in Glens Falls.
Pictures taken on our honeymoon, October 2004 October is the best month to visit New Hampshire and Vermont, and the weekend of our wedding, the foliage was fantastic, the best we've ever seen! We took several long drives around the White Mountains and marveled at the colors on the mountains.
