Well, what do you know? southstation.org has been in the news! I guess with too much time on your hands, you might type your name into Google and see what pops up.
Well, the MetroWest Daily News came up in a web search on my name (and incidentally, revealed that my name is not indexed on my home page.) "Surf's Up," a column written by News correspondent Kurt Blumenau typed Bellingham, my high school alma mater's town, into Google and came up with my bio page, which mentions, quite liberally, the names and pictures of some of those I went to high school with. The article mentions this page near the bottom of the article. So what I want to know, is, how does Kurt know about the video we in the AV biz made of that town meeting in 1971?
Still unemployed, if you are an employer capable of hiring this well-experienced disaster recovery planner, IT manager and project manager, send me an email.
On another front, I had a very enjoyable day with my single parents group at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire yesterday. It seemed very different than I remember it as a child back in the 1960s. Newer roller coasters, like the Corkscrew, and the venue for the Elvis tribute show were standouts. But what I do remember is the relaxed, family atmosphere in a really treed, shady environment besides beautiful Canobie Lake. Highly recommended.
Au revoir,
-Larry
