Yes, it's me after a hiatus (not a disease or a muscle problem, study the lives of actors in TV shows and that is the name of their "off" time when not filming their shows; I'm sure this is more than you need to know, right?).
The weekend from last Thursday the 24th was spent in a Singles Conference up at the Word of Life Inn in Schroon Lake, NY. The pastor who taught at the meetings and seminars was Walt Grayum from Trinity Baptist Church in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts, and he did a wonderful job and is a gifted teacher. I met some wonderful singles there, who knew how to be serious and how to have fun until after 3 in the morning! (Not me, of course, it was only midnight for me). I went with several members of my Single Parents group from our church and we were all blessed by the teaching, fellowship and some new relationships! One thing that I was especailly excited about was a day trip to Montreal, which I had never been to before. We toured the Old Town and the Notre Dame Basilica. The food, the room and the facilities at the Inn were top notch, and I am looking forward already to the next time! I have to say Hello to Carla, Al, Dottie, Billie, Carol, Jean, Beth, Mary, Annemarie, Ed, William, Paul, Anthony, Merna (happy birthday!), Rita, Steve, Mike and the crew who keeps the Inn and Conference Center so clean and welcoming, plus the members of my group Barbara, Dawn and Nick.
Now, I have to redo some pages that didn't make the new format, and begin to remove some links that don't work. I also have to get going on the picture pages (that's right, boys and girls!). So stay tuned and thanks for listening.
